Group Programming & Tours
The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame has something special to offer your group. From educational programs for school groups to group events for service clubs, from community organizations to special visits for golf clubs and their members. Read on for more information.
Educational Programming
The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum provides a self-guided tour of the Museum, geared to a variety of grades and curriculum. Students are provided with a scorecard to work their way around the Hall of Fame, “discovering” the answers to a variety of math, science, language and social science questions. Hands-on activities include putting with two-hundred-year-old style equipment, equipment assembly and golf course design.
- Pre-visit and post-visit classroom materials are available for some grade levels.
- School visits normally last 1 – 1 ½ hours.
- Entry fee for students costs $5.00 per student, while entry fee for accompanying adults (teacher + one adult per 10 students) is complimentary.
- Ample bus parking is available.
- Service Clubs / Community Organizations are welcome.
The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame is pleased to invite those interested in discovering the history and heroes of the game to visit the Hall of Fame for an evening or afternoon visit. A guided tour will be offered, in addition to the food and beverage service on site, either at Glen Abbey or in the Hall itself. An Honoured Member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame may also be available to meet your group.
Golf Clubs
The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame is pleased to invite Golf Clubs and other golf organizations to join us at the Hall. Tours can be geared towards an introduction to the etiquette of the game, the rules of golf, tournament play or about great Canadian golfers from the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame’s gallery of Honoured Members. Arrangements may be made to meet a Hall of Fame member.
This is an excellent venue for new club members, staff orientation event or in conjunction with a junior program.
